RSM prepares each candidate for biblical counseling by offering a Five-Level Apprenticeship Training program.  One will receive nearly one hundred contact hours with men and women who practice what they teach.  Though all five levels are essential for NANC certification, all will prepare one for living a life that pleases God.

We strive to maintain classes that allow interaction between students and faculty.   We strongly believe that the learning process is enhanced by many forms of learning including lecture, case studies, Q & A, and the fellowship that grows amongst the students.

Therefore, we do offer counseling on a limited basis.  Our counselors are either NANC certified or in the process of certification.  Counseling services are based upon the number of students training, volunteers, and staff availability.  We provide counseling for individuals, couples, families, and children older than six.*

All counseling sessions are FREE, but we do ask that you consider a monetary donation. Our prayer is that through our counseling services, you will be able to find freedom in Christ and gain the necessary tools to handle life issues.

*If the child is younger than six, we would be more than happy to meet with the parents.

Everything one needs to live a life that pleases God and produces peace is found in the Person Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible.  Indeed, it is Jesus’ glory and moral virtue that compels one to seek Him and find lasting joy.

Therefore, counsel given at Rod and Staff is based on sound biblical principles derived from the resources of the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and prayer.  Written resources other than the Bible may be used, but only when they are based on sound biblical principles found in God’s Word.
